Marlowe Environmental Services (‘we’ and ‘us’) is a trading name of WCS Environmental Services Registration Reference “02184649” and our registered DPO is datarequests@marlowe-group.com. WCS Environmental Limited is the data controller of all personal data held and processed by us.

From the 25th May 2018, the main data protection law will be the General Data Protection Regulation, replacing the Data Protection Act 1998.

This Privacy Policy explains, in this context, what information Marlowe Environmental Services collects about you and how it will be used. We aim to be transparent with you when we collect your data and to use it only in ways that you would reasonably expect.

The Policy applies to this website (www.marlowe-ES.com) and overarches our data collection, processing and usage practices, achieved chiefly via our use of marketing automation software. By using our website, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these, you should not use the Marlowe Environmental Services website.

  1. USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 

    You are free to explore the Marlowe Environmental Services website without providing any Personal Information about yourself. When you visit the website to download our content, subscribe to our blog or we request that you provide Personal Information about yourself, and we collect Navigational Information.


Rest assured, we only use this data to manage your account, deliver the services you’ve requested and from time to time provide you with company, compliance regulation and service updates.

  1. KEEPING AND STORING YOUR DATA 

    If you’re a current or past customer, we’ll keep a copy of your personal details for no longer than 6 years, from the time your active relationship with us ends. Holding on to data allows us to keep accurate records for tax purposes and to handle any future complaints.All of the data that we collect is stored within the our servers and Gold Vision (referenced in section 4).

    Our website is not aimed at addressing anyone under the age of 13. As such, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

  1. Sharing your data with third parties 

    We respect your privacy and that’s why we don’t share any data with third parties for marketing purposes. However, we will pass your information to a limited number of third parties for the following reasons:

  • To deliver the services you’ve asked for, which includes sharing your information with a either one of our portfolio of brands including; WCS Water & Air, Clearwater Compliance, WCS Engineering, WCSE Environmental Engineering, Guardian Water & Air, Hydro-X, Tersus, Tersus Training, Sterling Hydrotech, B&V Chemical and HX Training and/or specialist consultants from our network (if required for a specific service).
  • For legal or regulatory purposes including fraud prevention
  • If we buy or sell any business or company assets
  • We will never sell your Personal Information to any third party.

Marlowe Environmental Services Use Of Gold Vision

Marlowe Environmental Services uses the Gold Vision platform to underpin our inbound marketing and sales activity. Gold Visions marketing automation platform allow us to build and manage our webpages effectively as an inbound marketing hub where visitors can learn more about our company, download content, and provide their contact information and other demographic information, as and where appropriate. This information, which is stored and managed on the Gold Vision service providers’ servers (learn more about Gold Visions data protection and security here), is only accessed by Marlowe Environmental Services. It is then used by Marlowe Environmental Services so that the visitors can be contacted about their interest in our services and can interact with us as they choose.

Gold Vision provides their platform by way of a subscription service to its customers for marketing and lead generation. Information that we collect and manage using the Gold Visions subscription service for our marketing belongs to Marlowe Environmental Services and is used, disclosed and protected according to this Privacy Policy.

Marlowe Environmental Services Use Of Google Analytics

We sometimes use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors are using and engaging with our website. This again allows us to make improvements to our web services and your online experience. The Google Analytics tracking tool uses a number of cookies to collect information and report website usage statistics and does so without personally identifying individual visitors to Google or Marlowe Environmental Services.
